Buglo, a Polish manufacturer of playgrounds, fitness equipment, and urban furniture, is kicking off 2025 with another spectacular acquisition. Following the purchase of the Danish company Elverdal at the end of 2024, Buglo now announces the acquisition of Finnish brand LeikkiSet. This strategic move strengthens Buglo’s position in Scandinavia and brings the company closer to achieving its long-term goal: joining the top three European playground manufacturers.
Aiming for the Top 3 – A Vision Becoming Reality
Bartosz Krzemiński, CEO of Buglo, emphasizes that the acquisition of LeikkiSet is a well-considered step in the company’s strategic growth plan:
“We are consistently working towards securing a position among the top three largest playground manufacturers in Europe. The acquisition of Elverdal at the end of 2024 solidified our presence in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Now, with LeikkiSet, we are becoming the leader in Finland as well. This is yet another testament to the reality of our vision – Buglo is a brand continuously building its strength in international markets.”
LeikkiSet is a company well-known to Buglo, having been one of its key distributors in Finland for years. In 2024, it ranked fifth among Buglo’s largest global partners. Marcin Girzejowski, the regional manager, sees tremendous potential in this partnership:
“I’m delighted that after years of collaboration, we can now operate with LeikkiSet as one team, combining our knowledge and experience. Together, we have the opportunity not only to strengthen Buglo’s position in Finland but also, alongside the previously acquired Danish company Elverdal, which has branches in Sweden and Norway, to set new standards for the playground market across all Nordic countries.”
The acquisition of LeikkiSet marks another chapter in Buglo’s growing presence on the European playground manufacturing map.
2025: A New Stage Full of Challenges and Opportunities
Buglo continues to push forward, proving that consistency, courage, and a cohesive team are the recipe for international success.
