Environmental awareness is one of the pillars of our work. With future generations in mind, we undertake various actions to ensure that Buglo’s production is sustainable and eco-friendly.
What pro-environmental actions do we take at Buglo?
Equipment made from recycled materials
Almost all of our products can be optionally made from recycled materials: plastic recovered from the sea, biopolymers from sugar cane, and reclaimed steel.
Materials from certified sources
We use wood from sustainably managed forests and other raw materials with appropriate certifications, ensuring their high quality and compliance with ecological standards.
Carbon footprint reduction
We’ve calculated our company’s carbon footprint and are aware of the impact we have on the environment. We continuously work to minimise it.
Renewable energy sources
In our headquarters and technology park, we use renewable energy sources. Additionally, we recover heat from production process and apply it to warm the factory.
Everyday practices
We also take smaller steps – they matter too! We’ve eliminated plastic bottles, ensure proper waste segregation, and are replacing vehicles in our fleet with hybrid and electric ones.
Children's education
We established the Safe Child Academy, where we share knowledge with the youngest. Our focus includes recycling, eco-friendly actions everyone can take, and safe play.

Plastic recovered from the seas
Pollution of seas and oceans is a global problem. Some of the plastic accumulating in them can be processed and reused. We turn it into panels for our devices, reducing the carbon footprint of these elements by 76%.
Recycled steel
We use steel constructions because they are more environmentally friendly than reinforced concrete ones. We process scrap steel, which saves 40% of the water needed for production and lowers the carbon footprint by 86%.
Certified wood
The posts on our playgrounds are made from wood that has the FSC certification – it comes 100% from sustainable sources and is harvested in a way that minimises environmental degradation.

Buglo Play Begins Work on Its First ESG Report
We are excited to announce that Buglo Play has begun working on its first ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) report.
This is a significant leap for us, marking our deep commitment to sustainable development and responsible corporate conduct.
As part of our efforts towards environmental transparency and accountability, Buglo Play is proud to present its first carbon footprint report for the year 2023.
The report covers Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and we are currently intensively working on calculating our Scope 3 emissions. These efforts further demonstrate our commitment to minimizing our environmental impact and striving toward ambitious climate goals.
Developing an ESG report is not merely a transparency requirement, but also a strategic opportunity for expansion into new areas. We regard the reporting process as a vital tool for identifying innovative solutions and enhancing our initiatives related to environmental stewardship, community engagement, and governance accountability.
Our objective is for the report to not only adhere to the highest standards, but also to serve as a strategic instrument that drives the company’s growth and creates long-term value for our stakeholders. We are confident that the development of the ESG report will provide valuable insights into our strengths, challenges, and key areas requiring focused attention.
