The Museum of Firefighting wanted to enhance its outdoor space with a playground that would reflect its theme while providing children with an opportunity for active outdoor play. The key challenge was to create an attraction that would serve as a natural extension of the museum’s storytelling while seamlessly fitting into the available space.
We modified our standard play equipment to fit both the available space and the unique character of the site. A fire station tower and a fire truck were designed to encourage children to immerse themselves in role-playing. We developed a comprehensive site plan and carried out the installation, ensuring that the entire playground seamlessly blended with the museum’s surroundings.
The Museum of Firefighting has gained a new, engaging outdoor space that complements its educational offering and encourages children to enjoy active play in the fresh air. The playground serves as a natural extension of the museum’s exhibition, allowing young visitors to immerse themselves in the world of firefighting challenges while having fun. By tailoring the structures to the available space, the area has been optimally utilised, and the new attraction enriches the museum’s surroundings, making each visit an even more immersive experience.
